PARKING & TRANSPORTATION OVERVIEW
Sports Authority Field at Mile High is located adjacent to downtown Denver at the intersection of I-25 and Colfax Avenue.
In addition to driving, there are numerous, extremely convenient public transportation options available for fans on gamedays including RTD's Broncos Ride shuttles, light rail and standard RTD bus service. The stadium's convenient location also allows for unique alternative transportation options to be considered including the historic Platte Valley Trolley which runs between REI and the Broncos Bridge on the east side of the stadium or biking or walking to the stadium utilizing the expansive network of Denver bike paths.
Regardless of how you decide to get to the game, with a sell-out crowd of over 75,000 fans in attendance, all fans should develop transportation plans in advance and plan extra time in order to minimize delays and arrive at the stadium on time. Fans are also encouraged to consider utilizing one of the convenient public or alternative transportation options available on Broncos game days.

PARKING INFORMATION There are 6,500 parking spaces on-site at the stadium with an additional 15,000 spaces available in independent parking lots in and around the stadium area.
On-Site Stadium Parking
Parking spaces in on-site stadium lots are primarily reserved for Broncos season ticket holders with pre-sold parking permits. Single-game parking spaces on-site at the stadium are available for fans without a permit, however availability of single-game spaces is limited and is sold on a first-come, first-served basis ($30-$20 cash only). Single game spaces on-site at the stadium historically sell out on individual game days by 12:30 PM or earlier.
Single Game Parking (Fans without Permits)
Fans without parking permits have numerous options for parking with over 15,000 single day spaces at an average of $10 to $15 per space, cash only, available in independent parking facilities in close proximity to the stadium area. The Pepsi Center and Auraria Campus, located east of I-25 and 10 minutes by foot to the stadium are one of these options. *Pricing and availability of off-site, independent parking lots is subject to change without notice.
Please exercise caution when parking in off-site lots and utilize only those which 1) display a special event parking sign issued by the City & County of Denver, or 2) are existing approved parking lots clearly managed by reputable companies.
Motorcycles must park in standard parking stalls and pay the standard per vehicle cost. At this time there is not a specific on-site parking lot at the stadium specifically designated for motorcycles however this is being evaluated for the future.

RTD provides convenient and inexpensive game day public transportation options to and from the stadium including BroncosRide shuttles, light rail and standard bus service. If utilizing public transportation, please be reminded of the new NFL Bag Policy which restricts the size and type of bag fans are permitted to carry into the stadium.
Broncos Ride shuttles transport fans to Sports Authority Field at Mile High from local park and ride lots throughout the metropolitan area. Busses depart park and rides 2 ½ to 1 hour prior to kickoff and meet passengers in Lot A outside Gate 9 for the return trip. Round trip fares range from $ 4.50 to $ 10.00 depending the departure point. Round-trip tickets may be purchased at ticket vending machines or the ticket booths at select light rail stations.
Federal & Market Street Shuttle
The Federal Shuttle and Market Street Station Shuttle operate every three to five minutes starting two hours prior to kickoff until 10 minutes after kickoff. Following the game, service resumes with the last bus departing 45 minutes following the conclusion of the game.
The Federal Shuttle stops at Lincoln High School (2285 South Federal Blvd) and at bus stops along Federal Boulevard to the stadium. The Market Street Shuttle departs from the Market Street Station located at the corner of the 16th Street Mall and Market Street in downtown Denver
The Sports Authority Field at Mile High Station (C, E or W Lines) and new Decatur-Federal Station (West Corridor Line) provide direct access from RTD's light rail system to the stadium. Regular one-way Light Rail Fares apply. Fans should purchase a round-trip ticket at your initial boarding station to avoid delays after the game.
Sports Authority Field at Mile High Station
The C, E or W light rail lines stop at the Sports Authority Field at Mile High Station, an 8 minute walk to the stadium. Fans may also take the D or H lines and transfer to the C or E lines at I-25 & Broadway, Alameda, or 10th & Osage stations.
The new Decatur Federal station is also an 8 minute walk to the stadium and located on the recently completed WestCorridor Line, an extension of light rail service 12.1 miles to the west and connecting downtown Union Station to the Federal Center in Golden.

A taxi stand is located outside the stadium on Bryant Street along the pedestrian walkway outside the Gate 5 area on the northeast corner of the building.
BIKING TO THE STADIUM Sports Authority Field at Mile High can be accessed directly via the South Platt Trail of the Denver bike trail system. To download a .pdf map of the Denver trail system, click HERE. There are over 300 on-site bike racks for securing the bikes when on-site. All those biking to the stadium are encouraged to be aware of and to plan for the new Stadium Bag Policy which will be in effect at all stadium gates.
PLATTE VALLEY TROLLEY
The Platte Valley Trolley’s popular Football Shuttle will operate during the 2013-2014 season for all Denver Broncos home games. The fare is $5.00 per game for a round trip ticket (One-ways are available for $3.00 per person). Children under 3 and young are free and tickets can be purchased on the Trolley. The Trolley operates between 15th St. and Confluence Park and the Broncos Bridge starting 2 hours before the game and beginning at the end of the 3rd quarter until one hour after the game ends.

All permit-parking areas will open five hours prior to each game. Police checkpoints will be staffed two hours prior to each game, to assist with directing permit holders, buses and other vehicles. You must follow the access routes identified on the back of your permit or you may be denied access and redirected by traffic officers. You must have a valid permit for the current game number. Vehicles without valid permits will be denied access to the permit lots. There will be NO in-and-out privileges. Permits may not be re-used or transferred. Pay lots for Broncos games are located on the south side of Colfax Avenue in Lot M, $30 per space, and a limited number in Lot N, $20 per space. These lots are sold on a first-come, first serve basis. All lots open five hours prior to game time. A limited amount of VIP tailgating space is available in Lot C for $30 per space or with an exchange of an existing stadium permit. Tailgating space will be sold starting at 8 a.m. for afternoon games and 12 p.m. for evening games. Tailgating space in Lot C sells out quickly, so please arrive early. One permit will be good for one parking stall depending on the size of your vehicle, additional spaces may need to be purchased. Additional cash parking is located on the east side of Sports Authority Field at Mile High at the Pepsi Center, Auraria Campus and in the Lodo area of downtown for most Broncos games. There is a pedestrian walkway between these lots and the stadium.
Parking in the neighborhood streets surrounding Sports Authority Field at Mile High is strictly prohibited. Guests who park in the neighborhoods surrounding Sports Authority Field at Mile High are subject to citation and tow by the City of Denver’s Right of Way and Permit Enforcement Division. Towed vehicles will be taken to the Wastewater Management Facility at 2nd and Umatilla for two hours after the game. To find out if your car was towed to this facility, please call 303-295-4363.
Parking Lot & Tailgating Guidelines
Parking lot guidelines have been established in all stadium managed parking lots. Violation of parking lot guidelines may result in ejection from stadium property, arrest and the revocation of tickets and parking passes.
1 Vehicle – 1 Space
Please be considerate of your fellow ticket holders. Tailgating will be limited to the lined parking space and the area directly behind or in front of each vehicle. The blocking of the drive lane is prohibited. All tables, chairs, coolers, barbeques, etc. within the parking stall of your party. Tents or canopies exceeding 8' x 8' footprint and vehicles measuring more than 18' in length and/or 8' in width are not permitted to park in a lined parking space.
Tailgating is permitted on medians and landscaped areas adjacent to parking lots. There will be strict enforcement of the one permit one parking space policy.
Cooking & Use of Grills:
We ask that all guests safely set-up, operate and extinguish all cooking and grilling materials. Please extinguish and dispose of all cooking and grilling materials. Hot coals are to be disposed of in hot coal containers which are located in parking lots.
Vending / Solicitation:
Unauthorized soliciting or the collection of contributions, vending, distribution of flyers, or other materials is not permitted.
Please dispose of all waste materials in the proper trash, recycling, and hot coal containers.
- Parking is on a first come-first serve basis in the appropriately designated lots. The saving of parking spaces will not be permitted. Groups desiring to tailgate together should arrive together.
- The use of adjacent parking spaces for tailgating, even if a ticket holder is in possession of an extra parking permit, is not permitted. Lined parking spaces must be utilized for vehicles, not tailgate activities.
- Drive aisles and fire lanes need to be kept clear at all times for free access of emergency vehicles.
- Grills are permitted for tailgating enjoyment, provided guests do so only in the same space occupied by their vehicle. However, their use near buildings or in areas where guests or property may be damaged is strictly prohibited.
- Open fires are not permitted.
- Ticket holders utilizing light rail, Broncos Ride shuttles or other means of transportation may also participate in pre-game tailgating atmosphere at the Mile High Mountain Village located at Gate #4 of the stadium.
- Ticket holders should cross roadways at the designated crosswalks and should NOT walk on the active roadways that lead to and from the stadium.
ADA parking is available on a season-long basis in Lot G. The parking fee is $300, to purchase season parking in an ADA lot. A limited number of single game permits may be available for ADA parking in Lots D and G; the parking fee is $30 per game. Those wishing to purchase a single game permit for ADA parking should call 720-258-3000 or email Parking@Broncos.NFL.net
. Single-game permits if available, are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and will only be sold to those who may supply a copy of a valid State-issued handicap placard or vehicle registration. Single game permits are sold out for the 2013 season.
Lot L is available for cash-only ADA parking on a first-come, first-served basis on game days.
Shuttle carts for elderly and disabled patrons will begin operating three hours prior to game time and service will continue until one hour after the game ends. Patrons who desire to be picked up from the parking areas must arrive early and depart at least one hour prior to game time. Patrons who desire to be transported back to their vehicles after the game must wait until walkways have cleared.
All shuttle patrons will be dropped off or picked up only at the designated shuttle stop points along the ring walkway. Please do not hail empty carts that drive by, as they are in route to pick up waiting patrons at the designated pick up points. In order to help get you to your car as soon and safely as possible, shuttle drivers are instructed not to stop for pick-ups along the way, so they can get to the pick up points quickly.
During inclement weather, the shuttle cart service may run on an extremely limited basis or not at all.
