Event Information

ACM and CMA Entertainer of the Year Kenny Chesney’s ‘Trip Around The Sun’ Tour will play at Sports Authority Field at Mile High on Saturday, June 30. The 2018 ‘Trip Around the Sun Tour’ will include all the new songs from The Big Revival and Cosmic Hallelujah, mix them with everyone’s favorites, add in a few wild cards and hit the road like only Chesney can. Joining Chesney on tour will be Academy of Country Music Male Vocalist and Country Music Association and ACM Single of the Year winner Thomas Rhett, good time band Old Dominion and newcomer Brandon Lay.

Entry to the Venue:

*Gates 2 and 7 will be open for suite and club ticket holders only. 

*All patrons with field seating tickets MUST enter through the North Tunnel, located just below Gate 5 gates will open at 3:00pm.

Prohibited Items:

  • Hard-sided containers of any size or style including hard-sided coolers or thermoses.
  • Bags or containers larger than 12" x 6" x 12."
  • Alcohol.
  • Glass bottles or cans
  • Non-alcoholic beverages brought into the stadium must be in approved factory sealed plastic containers only. Water bottles, sport bottles or other approved types of beverage containers that are not factory sealed must be emptied prior to entering the stadium. They may be refilled once inside at any water fountain.
  • Large golf umbrellas or umbrellas with metal tips.
  • Firearms or weapons of any type.
  • Designated artificial noise makers such as whistles or air horns.
  • Signs or flags on sticks, regardless of the length.
  • Footballs, Frisbees, inflatable balls.
  • Laser pointers of any type.
  • Fireworks.
  • Animals - with the exception of service animals for the disabled.
  • Any other items(s) deemed dangerous or unacceptable by security.

Clear Bag Policy

  • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and do not exceed 12”x6”x12”
  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc or similar)
  • Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand
  • An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose.

Prohibited bags include, but are not limited to:

Purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, seat cushions, luggage of any kind, computer bags, or any bag larger than the above permitted size.

Stadium Bag Policy

What am I allowed to bring into the venue?
The following items are permitted into the stadium:

  • Clear plastic or vinyl bag no larger than 12” x 6” x 12”.
  • Small clutch bag approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle strap
  • 1-gallon clear plastic freezer bag
  • Empty plastic water bottles, factory sealed plastic water bottles are allowed.


Gate Security Screening

Guests and their belongings will be screened and searched upon entry into the stadium. By tendering a ticket and entering the stadium, guests consent to such searches and waive any related claims they might have against their affiliates and stadium landlord or their agents. Persons electing not to consent to the searches will be denied entry into the stadium. Please plan on arriving at gates no later than 1 hour prior to the event start time to ensure you are in your seat on time. Please contact us with any additional questions at 720-258-3000.

There are no provisions to check items at the gates. Fans will be asked to either take prohibited items back to their car, if they have not entered the stadium, or dispose of prohibited items at the gate. Sports Authority Field at Mile High and the Denver Broncos are not responsible for items left behind, lost, stolen, or damaged.

Parking Information

It is highly encouraged that you purchase your permit in advance of the event to avoid traffic and congestion on event day. Click here to purchase parking in advance. If you do not have a permit and don’t plan on purchasing one in advance of the concert, parking will be sold on show day on a first come – first served basis (cash or credit card) in the south parking lots. 

What is the best way to get to the venue (driving directions)

Sports Authority Field at Mile High is located directly adjacent to I-25 and only about 1 mile from downtown Denver.

If you have a pre-purchased parking permit and are coming via I-25, take exit 210A if you’re coming from the North or 210C if you’re coming from the South.

If you don’t have a parking permit, take the Colfax Avenue exit and you’ll be directed to available cash lots on the south side of the stadium. Click here for more information.

Drop Off/Pick Up Information

Drop-offs at Sports Authority Field at Mile High should occur on the west side of the stadium on 18th or 19th Ave in between Federal and Mile High Stadium Circle.

What if I’m planning on taking RTD LightRail?

The Sports Authority Field at Mile High Station and Decatur-Federal Station provide direct access from light rail to the stadium. Regular one-way Light Rail Fares apply. It is recommended to purchase a round-trip ticket at your initial boarding station to avoid delays after the show.

What about Rideshare? 
After the event, head to the west side of the stadium to the Rideshare pickup location at 17th and Federal Boulevard (near the Sports Fan building).

Biking Information

Easily accessible from the South Platte Trail of the Denver bike trail system, the stadium has over 354 permanently installed bike racks on-site. All fans should ensure familiarity with the Stadium Bag Policy.


Parking Lot & Tailgating Guidelines

Parking lot guidelines have been established in all stadium managed parking lots.  Violation of parking lot guidelines may result in ejection from stadium property, arrest and the revocation of tickets and parking passes.

1 Vehicle – 1 Space

Tailgating is allowed in the stadium parking lots, but the on-site stadium parking spaces are intended for vehicles, not tailgating equipment. Tailgating is strictly limited to the area directly behind or in front of the lined parking space you have purchased. If you are arriving early to tailgate, it is highly advised that you back your car into a parking space on the perimeter of the parking lot to utilize the adjacent landscaped areas to set up your tailgate equipment. FANS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SET UP TAILGATE EQUIPMENT IN THE EMPTY PARKING SPACES ADJACENT TO THEM. All tables, chairs, tents, coolers, barbecues, etc. must be within the parking stall or directly behind your vehicle. Overflowing into or blocking the drive lanes is prohibited. A 16 ft. emergency drive lane must be maintained at all times. Tents or canopies exceeding an 8' x 8' footprint and vehicles measuring more than 18' in length and/or 8' in width are not permitted in a lined parking space.

Tailgating is permitted on medians and landscaped areas adjacent to parking lots.

*There will be strict enforcement of the one permit one parking space policy.*

Cooking & Use of Grills:

We ask that all guests safely set-up, operate and extinguish all cooking and grilling materials. Please extinguish and dispose of all cooking and grilling materials. Hot coals are to be disposed of in hot coal containers which are located in parking lots.

Vending / Solicitation:

Unauthorized soliciting or the collection of contributions, vending, distribution of flyers, or other materials is not permitted. Any advertising or promotion without the Denver Broncos approval is prohibited.

Waste

Please dispose of all waste materials in the proper trash, recycling, and hot coal containers placed throughout the parking lots. 

ADDITIONAL POLICIES

  • Parking is on a first come-first serve basis in the appropriately designated lots.  The saving of parking spaces will not be permitted. Groups desiring to tailgate together need to arrive together.
  • The use of adjacent parking spaces for tailgating, even if a ticket holder is in possession of an extra parking permit, is not permitted.  Lined parking spaces must be utilized for vehicles, not tailgate activities.
  • 16 ft. drive aisles and fire lanes need to be kept clear at all times for free access of emergency vehicles.
  • Grills are permitted for tailgating enjoyment, provided guests do so only in the same space occupied by their vehicle. However, their use near buildings or in areas where guests or property may be damaged is strictly prohibited.
  • Open fires are not permitted.
  • Ticket holders should cross roadways at the designated crosswalks and should NOT walk on the active roadways that lead to and from the stadium.
